Machinery & plant engineering

Sell machinery, support customers and offer digital services.

Your equipment operates for years, generating service cases, modifications and new requirements. We connect the installed base to sales, service and device data, enabling remote support, condition-based maintenance and digital customer offerings.

Challenges

Where workflows often stall

Equipment information is scattered

Sales, ERP, service and documentation hold separate records. An incident lacks the connection between serial number, configuration, history and contract.

Service starts after the customer calls

Technicians first clarify symptoms, parts and responsibilities. On-site visits are difficult to prepare without reliable condition data.

Digital offerings remain one-offs

A separate app for each client increases maintenance and support. Reusable device profiles, tenants and APIs are missing.

Our solutions

What we deliver

Installed base and condition data

The data hub links telemetry to devices and customers, managing profiles, firmware and events. Your application provides relevant status; we first establish which data the service needs.

Service from case to field visit

Dynamics 365 connects cases, work orders, scheduling and mobile feedback. ERP retains agreed ownership of master data, material and billing. Remote diagnosis and the decision to dispatch become part of the workflow.

Technical knowledge for diagnosis and support

AI CORE connects documentation to terminology and relations between components, symptoms and equipment. Staff receive evidenced information; machine actions remain separate and require their own safety assessment.

Integration with your operation

Assess machine interfaces, retrofit, OT segmentation, data rights and remote-access responsibilities for the actual equipment. A platform does not replace functional safety assessment.

From our work

Internationaler Maschinenbauer

Worldwide service without paper

A machine builder in dispensing technology digitised its service in the USA, China and EMEA with Dynamics 365 Field Service.

Technicians work with work order, asset and history in the app and report back on site. Spare parts and billing run in the ERP.

COLANDIS

Extend cleanroom technology with digital services

NXTGN and COLANDIS connect fan-filter units and sensors to a platform and web portal through ConnectedAir.

Monitor temperature, humidity, pressure and filter condition; configure devices, analyse data and receive alerts. Roles and an audit trail make access traceable.

MENNEKES

Hardware and data hub for M.ONE

NXTGN developed the hardware for every device in the M.ONE Core line and took it into series production.

This includes the radio module, antennas, RED approval and the data hub in the MENNEKES Industrial Cloud.

Implementation questions

Can existing machinery be connected?

It depends on controllers, interfaces and available data. We assess protocols and suitable gateway or retrofit options before committing to rollout.

How does a recurring offering emerge?

Plan service scope, users, pricing, data costs and support together. Connectivity alone is not a marketable service.

Which workflows do you want to improve?

Discuss your requirements with process consultants, developers and specialists from our entire expert team.
