Technology for better resource management.
Monitor energy use, manage charging infrastructure, keep containers in circulation and observe environmental conditions. We develop the devices, data platforms and applications that support these tasks.

A reading does not save energy by itself; a tracker alone does not improve circulation. Technology becomes useful when data changes a decision. We connect measurement to planning, maintenance, production and service.

Make energy consumption visible and comparable
Meter and plant readings need site, time, production volume and operating context. We connect these records and build analytics to investigate peaks, unusual consumption and changes.
Charging infrastructure adds availability, users, events and service. We connect status to workflows; control options depend on infrastructure and interfaces.
- Measurement data
- Map meters and assets and define data quality and intervals.
- Analysis
- Compare consumption with operating data and investigate deviations.
- Actions
- Record owners, changes and subsequent outcomes.
Keep containers and assets in use
Missing location and condition information makes recovery, cleaning and reuse harder. ibc.digital connects container data to fleet workflows, supporting planning for the next use or service.
Assess actual dwell time, available inventory and missing handovers. Environmental evaluation also considers transport, energy and hardware; a digital system is a tool, not proof of a reduction.
Observe environmental conditions at remote sites
Remote sites often lack fixed power and networks. Our monitoring combines instruments, power and connectivity with trends, device status and notifications.
We assess sampling, data volume, battery life, maintenance and lifetime. The application distinguishes current data from stale readings and faults; operators define actions and responsibilities.
ibc.digital: data for container circulation
In 2023 BASF Coatings, THIELMANN and NXTGN announced joint development of IBC tracking, combining container expertise, industrial requirements and a digital platform.
ibc.digital is a separate container-management brand and one application of our broader IoT expertise.

Questions & answers
Does NXTGN provide sustainability or ESG certification?
This page covers technical solutions. Certification, regulatory evidence and accounting require a separate specialist scope.
Can existing equipment be retained?
We assess interfaces, devices and data. Replacement depends on measurement needs, security and maintenance.
Where do you need better information?
Discuss energy, assets or a monitoring location and assess the information needed for operational use.
