IoT operations & monitoring

Operate devices, platforms and applications.

After rollout the real work begins. We monitor your fleet, handle incidents, roll out updates securely and are one contact for device, network, platform and app. We have operated COLANDIS ConnectedAir this way for more than five years.

Functions

IoT operations & monitoring functions

01

Monitor the fleet

We see missing reports, connections, firmware versions and readings before your customers call.

02

One point of contact

Whether device, network, platform or app, we find the cause. Nobody passes your customers back and forth between providers.

03

Secure updates

Firmware updates are signed and delivered over the air. A software bill of materials (SBOM) shows immediately which devices are affected when a vulnerability becomes known.

04

Quality with 5D and 8D

For quality issues we work with the standard 5D and 8D processes that industrial and automotive customers expect.

Business applications

Typical use cases for IoT operations & monitoring

Detect failures earlier

Missing data and errors are noticed before anyone asks in the portal.

Remote service

Data and secure remote access help with diagnosis. Every access is authorised and logged.

Roll out new fleets

We prepare device identity, profiles and activation before shipping, so the fleet starts without follow-up questions.

In operation

Solutions we have looked after for years

COLANDIS ConnectedAir has been in productive use for more than five years. For ibc.digital we operate the platform with several hundred trackers in the field. We continue to support MENNEKES after the market launch of the M.ONE product line.

Requirements and boundaries

We agree service hours and response times in the contract, to fit your business.

Do you only look after the cloud?

No. We look after the whole chain of device, connectivity, platform and application, or the parts you hand over to us.

Can our IT take on part of it?

Yes. Monitoring and support can be shared with your IT. We define responsibilities clearly.

How secure are the updates?

Firmware is signed, transfer is encrypted, and after flashing there is no access to the operating system. More under Why NXTGN.
